Former Bills receiver reimburses fan giving away playoff tickets

Stevie Johnson transferred $2,200 to LeShawn Jerman after he announced his ticket giveaway

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The generosity of Bills Mafia continues to show up just days before the playoffs begin.

This time it was the players giving back to the fans.

When word got out about LeShawn Jerman's playoff ticket giveaway, former Bills receiver Stevie Johnson thought he should reward Jerman for his generosity.

This morning, Jerman tweeted that Johnson used CashApp to send him $2,200, the same amount that Jerman used to buy the tickets originally.

Johnson played for the Bills from 2008-2013. He went on to play two more seasons for the 49ers and Chargers, but still he remains a big part of the Bills community even in retirement.

Johnson offered Pancho Billa, who was battling cancer at the time, the chance to take his spot  and read the Bills draft pick at last year's NFL Draft.

He's also taken part in fans' wedding at New Era Field

He even shows up every once in a while to surprise Bills fans at tailgates.

Even though his time in Buffalo has been over for a few years, Bills Mafia and the Queen City seem to still have a big place in his heart.
