BUFFALO, N.Y. — Repair work began on Monday to the Ohio Street Lift Bridge.

The City of Buffalo's Department of Public Works started work around 7:30 a.m., forcing all northbound traffic onto Ganson Street.

The Buffalo Police Department says southbound traffic will not be affected.

Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week; however, if you use the bridge for your commute, you may want to plan accordingly.
