GObike Buffalo's "Snow Roll" kicked off another season Saturday afternoon in the City of Buffalo.
The 10-mile ride began at 12:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Curling Club and stuck to major roads for the best conditions. Participants wer asked to bring donations of baby and children's clothing to donate to Harvest House, which is a stop along the route.
Following the bike ride, people could try their hand at curling with volunteer instructors. Curling was open to the public from noon to 4 p.m.
Food and drinks were also be available.
Three other Snow Rolls are scheduled over the next few months — one on January 11 at Landmark on Pearl, starting at 3 p.m, another on February 22 at Massachusetts Avenue Park, beginning at 12:30 p.m., and the last on March 1 at Roosevelt Playground, which has a 3 p.m. start.
