The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office is looking for more information on a cold case nearly 51 years ago.
Patty Fairbanks was 14-years-old when she was reported missing on November 28, 1972. According to investigators with Unsolved Chautauqua, her body was found a month later on December 29, 1972 only 120 yards from her front door.
Several people told police at the time they saw her in Jamestown as late as December 22, 1972. Investigators are looking for anyone that may have seen Fairbanks alive between November 28 and December 29, 1972.
