DEPEW, N.Y. — Two bodies were found inside a house in Depew on Friday.
Depew Police said they were called to a home on Regal Street, which is off of Rehm Road, near Transit Road. Police said the original call was because of overgrown grass, but when police arrived, they found two dead bodies inside the home.
Police were seen entering the home in HAZMAT suits.
"Under the circumstances, because we don't know the manor of death, preventative measures error on the safe side," John Thompson, captain with the Depew Police Department, told 2 On Your Side.
Police said they believe the bodies may have been in the home for about a month. They said the investigation continues, but they do not suspect any foul play.
