BUFFALO, N.Y. — Developers of a new pizzeria on Buffalo’s West Side say their plan will give the community a whole lot more than just a piece of the pie.
Extra Extra, a worker-owned pizza shop and wine bar, will open in the spring at 549 W. Utica St.
The menu will feature thin and crispy New York-style pizza, thicker crust pizza, salads, small plates and a rotating list of specials. The beverage program will focus on wine, beer and low- and no-alcohol cocktails with a focus on small producers. There are also plans for a draft beverage system and a soft-serve ice cream machine.
