BUFFALO, N.Y. — Papi Waterfront and Beach Bar has signed a new deal with Ellicott Development to expand its location at 301 Ohio St. to a year-round operation.
The restaurant launched as a beach bar in 2022 using shipping containers for an outdoor seasonal bar with a taco cart selling eight of the Amherst restaurant' best-selling tacos, as well as queso and nachos.
Owner Jimmy Spano announced the news in Facebook post, where he said the seasonal location will be closed while under construction this summer as it takes the next steps to develop the site. Features will include patio seating on the water, a full-service restaurant and bar, and an area for private parties.
