BUFFALO, N.Y. — Meet Ryan Mullen and Tia Piotrowski. They fell in love and got engaged several months ago. They scheduled a fall 2023 wedding and reception with the rehearsal the Thursday night before. Then the NFL schedule came out.
Their hometown Buffalo Bills were slated to have a rare Thursday Night home game the exact night of their rehearsal. But rather than reschedule the rehearsal, the families agreed to turn this problem into an epic Bills-themed event. Luckily, the priest, Father Gregory Faulhaber from St. Martin's Church, understood.
After all, HE is a season ticket holder too.
