Anniversary gala for Housing Opportunities Made Equal

Supporters of fair housing can gather in celebration for the 60th annual gala, where our very own Claudine Ewing will be the emcee.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Housing Opportunities Made Equal, otherwise known as "HOME," will be hosting its 60th anniversary gala at the Atrium at Rich's on Friday, October 27 at 5:30 p.m.

The Civil Rights organization, whose mission is to educate, advocate, and enforce fair housing laws, promotes the value and effort of ensuring that all people receive equal housing opportunities.

There will be dinner, dancing, a Buffalo Bills themed silent auction, basket raffle, showcased artwork and more.

Executive Director, DeAnna Eason, said that luck did not bring HOME 60 years of work, so much more did.

“The dedication, courage, strength, and love for humankind of a small group of like-minded individuals have brought us to this day,"
