Pedestrian killed in Town of Niagara; police have found vehicle

State Police say Maxim Vyazovoy, 22, was the victim of a hit-and-run on Lockport Road between Military Road and Norman Street.

NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — A Niagara Falls pedestrian was killed in the Town of Niagara Saturday morning, according to New York State Police.

State Police say Maxim Vyazovoy, 22, was the victim of a hit-and-run on Lockport Road between Military Road and Norman Street. They say Vyazovoy was walking on the north side of the road when a vehicle heading west on Lockport Road struck him. Vyazovoy was pronounced dead on the scene.

State Police say they found the vehicle, though no arrests have been made.
