Fast forward to the final five seconds of regulation with the game tied up at nine, leave it to none other than Bandits star forward Dhane Smith to rip a late goal with a second left on the clock to win the game. That goal, however, was later called off and this back and forth matchup was sent into overtime.

Matt Vinc was solid in the crease with save after save as Josh Byrne would get one more chance to put it away. He seals the deal right on cue as the Bandits storm the field to celebrate.

The Bandits take the 10-9 overtime win and will now advance to the best of three semifinal round against the Toronto Rock starting up on Friday, May 3 at the First-Ontario Center.

The full National Lacrosse League playoff series schedule against the Toronto Rock is as follows:

Game 1: 7:30 p.m. at Toronto on Friday, May 3

Game 2: 5 p.m. at KeyBank Center on Sunday, May 5
