2 trades, 0 picks made, and a swift social media response by Bills Mafia

After trading down with Kansas City, the Bills traded down again, this time with Carolina and moving out of the first round completely.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — After trading Stefon Diggs and and letting Gabe Davis walk away in free agency, the Buffalo Bills were widely expected to take a wide receiver Thursday night in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Most mock drafts expected it, and some went so far as to project Buffalo trading into the top five to take an elite talent such as Marvin Harrison Jr. The Bills clearly had a desperate need for help at the position.

So when the Bills traded down four spots, allowing the Kansas City Chiefs to draft a wide receiver, the social media response from Bills Mafia was immediate.

The big takeaway? Don't trade with the Chiefs. Anyone but the Chiefs.

And then they traded down again, this time with Carolina and out of the first round, so now the Bills are on the clock with the No. 33 overall pick, leading off the second round. Some fans didn't handle the all-night wait very well.
