Turn the night blue Friday to honor fallen trooper

New York State Police Troop E and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown are asking you to shine the night blue in memory of fallen state trooper, Nicholas Clark, 29, who was shot and killed when he was responding to a call.

BUFFALO, N.Y. - New York State Police Troop E and Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown are asking you to shine the night blue in memory of fallen state trooper, Nicholas Clark, 29, who was shot and killed when he was responding to a call.

In a Facebook post by the troop that Clark belonged to, Troop E, asks that as many people put a blue light bulb in your front porch light Friday night.

Mayor Brown also announced Thursday that the top of City Hall will be lit blue to honor Trooper Clark. The Buffalo Landmark Illumination Team will also take part in this memoriam by lighting their iconic buildings and structures in blue.

Clark was laid to rest this past Sunday.
