OLEAN, N.Y. — New York State Troopers responded to a single engine plan emergency landing November 14.
The emergency landing was in the town of Carrollton, New York, on State Route 417 just before 5pm.
Ethan M. McIntosh, 21, of Wilton, ME was the pilot and only person on the plane at the time of flight. Tropoers say he had to attempt the emergency landing after experiencing mechanical issues.
Investigation and assistance of the airplane was made by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the National Traffic Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
McIntosh was able to land the plane without any injuries or damage before the plane was removed from the runway.
