BATAVIA, N.Y. — On Thursday veterans from local American Legion posts will be donating meals to healthcare workers as a thank you for fighting on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The groups will be donating a total of 175 meals from the Red Osier restaurant to workers at the VA Western New York Healthcare System in Batavia.
The meal includes prime rib stew or chicken ala King, mashed potatoes with a salad and a roll.
