Man arrested for allegedly storing and selling cocaine in Erie County, police search for 2nd suspect

Buffalo Police said Bernard Brown is allegedly a major drug dealer accused of storing and selling large amounts of cocaine.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A City of Buffalo Department of Public Works employee has been suspended without pay after he was arrested on felony drug charges after a joint eight-month investigation into an alleged drug trade.

Bernard Brown is allegedly a major drug dealer accused of storing and selling large amounts of cocaine. He was arrested on Nov. 30, according to the Erie County Sheriff's Office.

Law enforcement is also searching for 23-year-old Naim Tabb, who they believe is involved in the alleged drug trade as well.

The eight-month investigation into Brown led to the seizure of narcotics with an estimated street value of about a half million dollars.

The ECSO along with several other agencies assisted with the investigation, a warrant was executed at Brown's home and turned up a large amount of cocaine, crystal meth, and deadly fentanyl.

Two homes were searched and a vehicle. Officials said altogether they found more than 19 pounds, which is worth about half a million dollars on the street.

The ECSO asked for the public's help in locating Tabb, who they say ran when officers were trying to apprehend him earlier this week, and who they describe as armed and dangerous.

He'd been arrested on two prior occasions on charges involving drugs and illegal guns, but never came back to court after being allowed to post bail for $75,000.
