Buffalo Bills fan shot after Miami game outside stadium; reward offered

30-year-old Dylan Isaacs was killed after a fight following Sunday’s game.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — A Buffalo Bills fan was shot and killed outside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday night following the Bills’ 21-14 win over the Dolphins.

Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name, but his family confirmed to 2 On Your Side Monday that it was 30-year-old Dylan Isaacs of Six Nations, Ontario.

Isaacs was visiting friends in Miami for the game. Miami police said a fight started involving him and his friends outside the stadium that escalated to a suspect exiting their vehicle, firing multiple rounds and striking Dylan. He was pronounced dead at the scene around midnight.

“He was hit by a car, knocked over,” his mother Susan said. “When he got up, he tried to go after the car, and the guy shot him.”

Susan said she received a call as she was getting ready for bed on Sunday night.

“I thought it was a dream, and it wasn’t happening,” she said. “We just talked to him on Sunday while he was at the game. He FaceTimed us. I just don't know why anyone would do that.”

Susan described her son as an avid basketball player and a big Bills fan, but most of all said that he loved making his family smile.

Authorities say the suspect remains at large, leaving Susan’s biggest concern that another mother will feel how she does now.

“No matter how much you try to raise them and keep them safe, it’s not in our hands, and that’s what hurts the most,” she said.

Crime Stoppers in Miami is offering a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect involved in the shooting.  You can contact them at:  305-471-8477.

The Isaacs family started a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral arrangements. That can be accessed here
