BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new pizza spot is up and running in Buffalo.
Imperial Pizza opened its second location on Friday at 1661 Main St. The 31-year-old business has one other location, on Abbott road in South Buffalo.
While the owners had plans of expanding from their first location, they weren't planning to for some time. But that changed when they got a phone call early last year.
"We got a phone call, and here we are," Imperial Pizza co-owner Steven Khoury said.
The owners say they are working with the city to continue their culture of charity. One example of that happened during the pandemic, when they donated thousands of pizza to feed staff at Mercy Hospital.
