Señor Leon Mexican Restaurant is moving into a Niagara Falls Plaza with its third site.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The company has signed a lease with Benderson Development for a space at 6560 Niagara Falls Blvd. previously occupied by the Original Honey’s and, most recently, as Buffalo Wing Joint and Pub.

The site marks the company’s entrance into the Buffalo market for Guillermo Leon, who operates two Mexican restaurants in Batavia. In addition to the original Señor Leon’s, which opened in October of 2022 at 4140 Veterans Memorial Drive, he also operates El Rancho Viejo, a Tex-Mex restaurant open since 2011 at 12 Ellicott St.

The new restaurant is in a 41,300-square-foot plaza adjacent to the I-190 that also houses a Goodwill thrift store and offices for the Social Security Administration.
