BUFFALO, N.Y. — The partners behind Jack Rabbit and the Riff City music venue are working to bring to Buffalo a type of summer venue more often found in cities like Miami.
SOL Buffalo is set to open this summer at 40 Chandler St., the former home of Tappo Day Club. But don’t expect the same type of vibe the previous ownership offered in the pool club’s first two years under developer Rocco Termini.
“We’re still working out the kinks for memberships, but I think out of the gate we expect it to be more of Jack Rabbit vibe, more music-oriented and more fun,” said Josh Mullin, one of four partners in the business with Jake Monti, Simon Wilson and Kevin Sampson.
