BUFFALO, N.Y. — A new Italian specialty shop is in the works in the Five Points neighborhood on Buffalo’s West Side.
Dalfonso’s Italian Imports will open at 445 Rhode Island St. as a hybrid shop/restaurant, with offerings such as fresh-cut deli items, olive salad and marinated peppers, as well as grab and go specialty products such as oil and vinegar.
The venture comes from Jeff Dalfonso, who grew up in a big Italian family and said he hopes to bring a European-style shop to restore some of the history and heritage that’s being lost.
