E-cigarette distributor pays $4.05M for Cheektowaga warehouse

Magellan and its sister company, Ecto World, which does business under the name Demand Vape, distribute e-cigarette products to vape shops nationwide.

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A local distributor of e-cigarettes and other vaping products has purchased a Cheektowaga warehouse at 1370 William St. for $4.05 million.

Magellan Technology, through its affiliate 1370 William Street Property LLC, purchased the 3.11-acre property from 1370 William LLC, an affiliate of local investor Anthony Trusso, according to records filed with the Erie County Clerk's office.

"Warehouse space is hard to find in this city," said Fuad Fadel, chief financial officer and chief operating officer for Magellan. "It became available, and we bought it because the price is right."

For now, the warehouse will supplement the company's existing leased space at 2225 Kenmore Ave., Tonawanda. It's too early to say whether the newly purchased property will eventually replace the existing facility, Fadel said.
