CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. — A new restaurant and brew pub is opening across from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
Iron Cedar Brewing and Meadery has leased space from Ellicott Development at the Comfort Inn & Suites Buffalo Airport at 4345 Genesee St. in Cheektowaga. The Landing Bar & Grill closed there early in the pandemic.
Owner Nick DeMarco is eyeing a June opening and will offer a full menu including soups and salads, wings, dips, burgers and sandwiches.
On the beverage side, DeMarco plans for traditional cocktails and beer, as well as his specialty meads, including nearly a dozen blends of honey wine and honey beer. Mead was the impetus for the business, he said.
