ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Kaylena Marie’s Artisan Bakery and Café, the Buffalo region’s homegrown cinnamon roll business, will add sites in Hamburg and Depew-Lancaster through its first franchise agreement.

The business first announced last fall it would begin offering franchise opportunities, with a goal of expanding outside the region. Kaylena Marie's has two corporate-owned stores in Orchard Park and East Amherst.

The first franchisee agreement was signed with Allison and John Hannon. She has worked with the company as a baker for two years. That puts the business is strong hands, said Joshua Reed, whose wife, Kaylena Reed, started the business in 2014 while she was in high school.
