Bills Mafia donates to KC children's hospital following parade shooting

The $22 is for the 22 shooting victims. The children who were shot are are being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Bills Mafia is stepping up to support Chiefs Kingdom.

Buffalo Bills Fan of the Year Del Reid shared a social media post on X, formerly known as Twitter, urging others to donate $22 to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. One person was killed in a Wednesday shooting, and at least nine children were among 22 people who were shot at end of Chiefs' Super Bowl parade.

The $22 is for the 22 shooting victims. The children who were shot are are being treated at Children's Mercy Hospital.

"It was very troubling to hear about the tragic gun violence at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade in Kansas City this afternoon," Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown said Wednesday on social media.

"Our hearts ache for the victims and their families. Violence has no place in our society. Please keep the Kansas City community in your prayers."
