Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus hold block party

The event brings people from the Fruit Belt, Allentown, and downtown together to meet with and enjoy a good time.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus held its annual summer block party on Thursday evening.

It brings people from the Fruit Belt, Allentown, and downtown together to meet with and enjoy a good time with medical campus employees who might not be natives of Western New York.

"The goal is collaboration," Kyria Stephens of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus said. "There is no real collaboration without community without people having relationship. Everything flows from relationships.

"We're setting up environments and experiences for people to come together, and collaborate, and have fun and realize that this is a space and a place for everyone. So this is what we're doing, just creating a space and environment where everyone can come together and have a good time."

This block party is now in its third year.
