BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say the man responsible for a fatal shooting on Interstate 190 in Buffalo has been arraigned and charged with murder.
The Erie County District Attorney's Office says Monday that 22-year-old Juan Colon was charged with second-degree murder during his arraignment Saturday. Authorities say Colon fatally shot 26-year-old Angel Marcial on July 9 as he was driving on I-190 northbound.
State police officials say Colon was taken into custody on Friday. Troopers say they believe this was a targeted shooting.
Colon is due back in court on Thursday. His attorney, Jessica Kulpit, wasn't immediately available to comment on the charges Monday.
