BUFFALO, N.Y. — As heavy snows have moved out of the area, all lake affect snow warnings, and winter weather advisories across the area have been allowed to expire. Look for some light snow showers into the afternoon and again this evening.

Wind gusts up to 30 to 35 mph will add an extra chill, and areas of blowing snow, especially this morning.
The snow should clear the Buffalo area after 9 am and last a bit longer up tp Niagara Falls as the snow band heads in that direction.
