WATCH: Bills fan captures video of apparent tornado in Fort Lauderdale

A tornado warning had been across Broward County on Saturday, from roughly 5:45 to 6 p.m.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Bills fan shared video of an apparent tornado that touched down Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The viewer, who did not want to be identified, said they shot the video at Hotel Maren in Fort Lauderdale Beach. They traveled from the Northtowns to attend the Bills' game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night.

A tornado warning had been across Broward County on Saturday, from roughly 5:45 to 6 p.m.

The City of Fort Lauderdale at 7 p.m. through a social media post said "an apparent tornado touched down earlier this evening near Las Olas and the Intracoastal. There have been no reports of injuries so far. Fort Lauderdale Fire crews are assessing the damage, which appears to be minor."

The National Weather Service for Miami and South Florida, on social media, also reposted a video of an apparent tornado. The NWS has yet to confirm any tornadoes in the area.
