Fall will start off cool and rainy for WNY

A "season-changing" cold front has brought heavy rain and cooler temperatures

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Rainfall is starting to ease across WNY.

That wet stretch that began Tuesday evening have brought rain totals to exceed 1 to 1.5 inches across a large area.

Following the rainfall, cooler temperatures will arrive with highs in the 60s to end the week. Another system could bring thick clouds and a few rain showers along with more cool air for Saturday and Sunday.
