AMHERST, NY- Traci Murphy is changing colleges and changing positions. Murphy has been hired by Daemen College as their new athletic director. She was introduced to the school Monday morning.
Murphy comes from Canisius College where she worked for the past 13 years. Murphy was associate athletic director and senior woman administrator at Canisius. Now the woman who started out as an athletic trainer will run the show for the Wildcats.
Murphy succeeds Brandi Guerinot who was has been the interim athletic director since January.
Daemen is Western New York's only Division II school.
