BUFFALO, N.Y. — Tuesday night TSN's Bob Mckenzie reported that the Sabres will name Ralph Krueger their new head coach. Mckenzie credited Elliotte Friedman from Sports Net for having the story first over the weekend.

So far the Sabres have not confirmed the hiring. He will be the 19th coach in franchise history.

The 59 year old Krueger faces a huge challenge as the Sabres have the longest playoff drought in the NHL.

Two On Your Side's Stu Boyar shares some of his thoughts on Krueger.
