Bills' Deonte Harty named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

The Bills wide receiver and punt returner was given the honor for his performance during the team's Week 18 win against Miami.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills wide receiver and punt returner Deonte Harty was named as the Week 18 'AFC Special Teams Player of the Week' on Wednesday.

Harty returned one of Miami's five punts for a 96-yard touchdown during Buffalo's 21-14 win over the Dolphins Sunday night.

The touchdown tied the game up at 14 early on in the fourth quarter, giving the Bills the right amount of momentum to take control of the game.

This is Harty's first 'Player of the Week' honor during his four-year career in the NFL. He was named a Pro-Bowler and First-Team All-Pro returner back in 2019 with the New Orleans Saints.
