Bills re-sign DE A.J. Epenesa to 2-year deal

The Bills announced the defensive re-signing on Monday afternoon.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills announced on Monday they are bringing back DE A.J. Epenesa on a two-year deal.

The Bills' former second-round pick back in 2020 has spent four seasons with Buffalo, and is coming off his best season statistically where he tied his career-high in sacks with 6.5, and set career-highs in tackles with 20, passes defended with eight, and interceptions with two.

Epenesa has played in 58 games so far for the Bills. Throughout his career, he has earned 61 tackles, 15.5 sacks, 15 passes defended, and two interceptions.

With the handful of departures announced over the past week by Buffalo, bringing back Epenesa will help keep a key part of the defensive line intact.
