Bills' Allen talks about the future, Stefon Diggs

The Bills quarterback joined ESPN's Pat McAfee on Thursday to discuss the past season and what's next for the Bills.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen visited the Pat McAfee show on Thursday afternoon, where he was featured as a special guest on the show.

In a 16-minute long interview, McAfee and Allen discussed numerous topics ranging from the past season, Allen's MVP nomination, a social media cleanse, and even the future of wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Diggs seemed to distance himself again once the season ended after Buffalo's 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round.

More than two weeks following the end of the season, Diggs told ESPN — after being asked about his optimism for the future of the Bills — that he "can't tell what the future holds, but I'm still being me."

Although Diggs didn't go into elaboration on his comment, Allen teased Thursday that something may already be in the works between the two for the upcoming year.

"I owe a lot of my success in my career to him (Diggs)," Allen said. "I love that guy like a brother, and I always will."

He added: "We're gonna do some big things next year."

Diggs remains under contract with the Bills for three more years. He signed a four-year extension in 2022.

During his time in Buffalo, Diggs has collected 5,372 receiving yards on 445 receptions. He averages 12.1 yards per reception for the Bills and has scored 37 touchdowns in his four seasons.
