NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — On Thursday night a Western New York local in the basketball community checked his 300th win as a coach off the bucket list.

Bill Beilein, the head coach for the Niagara County Community College Thunderwolves, led his team to a home victory in a 107-64 win over Finger Lakes Community College.

Beilein, who is now into his 15th season as the men's basketball coach at the community college, has led the team to the Region III Division II Final Four 12 times during his career. He has also been honored as the region's coach of the year six times as well.

Before his career at NCCC, Beilein worked as an assistant at Medaille College under coach Mike McDonald.

During the milestone game, Beilein received a celebratory Gatorade bath from his players, and his family in attendance had posters reading "Coach B We've seen all 300 wins."
