Despite growing up in Western New York, Holden Miller isn't shy about cheering for the New England Patriots.
He's a fan of tight end and Amherst native Rob Gronkowski and lets pretty much everyone know it.
That's not ordinary in Western New York, but on so many levels, Holden is extraordinary.
He's been deaf since birth. He couldn't speak at all when he was first fostered, and then adopted by the Miller family in Williamsville at the age of three and a half. Amazingly, through the use of Cochlear implants, he is now able to hear and carry on full conversations as he enters the sixth grade.
Many of Holden's family and friends reached out to the Gronkowski family and foundation, and as a result Monday he realized the dream of meeting his favorite player. He was be one of five kids from across the country to attend Tom Brady's throwing clinic in Foxboro, and Gronkowski was also be in attendance.
