SpaceX launches 2 Falcon 9 rockets from Cape Canaveral

The second Falcon 9 launch lifted off from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station around 9:29 p.m. Saturday

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX successfully launched two Falcon 9 rocket missions from Cape Canaveral on Saturday. 

The first mission launched at 5:52 p.m. with the Eutelsat 36D from Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39A.

This marked the 12th launch of the first-stage booster supporting this mission, according to SpaceX.

The second Falcon 9 launch was delayed by less than 30 minutes, lifting off from the Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 9:29 p.m.

The launch carried 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit.

SpaceX is also targeting a third Falcon 9 launch within 24 hours - this time launching from the Space Force Base in California.

The Falcon 9 rocket is set to carry 22 Starlink satellites, also to low-Earth orbit, for a 7:30 p.m. PT launch.
