SOUTH WALES, N.Y. — The NYS Lottery announced six 3rd prize winners for the Powerball and one of those winners was in South Wales.
A 7-ELEVEN located at 6444 Olean Road in South Wales sold the 3rd prize-winning ticket which is worth $50,000.
The Powerball jackpot soared to $1.23 billion after no one won the top prize in Wednesday night's drawing.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
