WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Here's a sign of warmer weather — the Williamsville Farmers Market is now open for the season.
It runs every Saturday now through October 26 in the Amherst Town Hall lot located at 5583 Main Street. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is rain or shine.
There you can find a variety of local-only products, fresh produce, baked goods, fresh roasted coffee, meat, artisan goods, and more.
There's also live music, free samples, and storytelling every week.
The market was started in 2007 by a small group of residents who volunteered and learned how to organize and sustain a weekly market.
