BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Zoo has a new exotic animal—a komodo dragon.
The zoo welcomed Kadal on Facebook Monday. He arrived in October and is 5-years-old. He recently passed his final quarantine exam and can now join the other animals in the amphibian and reptile center.
It's the first time the zoo has hosted the species.
The Donna M. Fernandes Amphibian and Retile Center will open Friday, May 24th.
