BUFFALO, N.Y. — You've seen him in a sleigh but what about on a surf board?

Surfing Santa is coming to town on Saturday, December 23 and celebrating 39-years of shredding the waves.

Those who want to see the surfing Santa in action can find him doing the 5-kilometer paddle from 11:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m but the fun doesn't stop there.

Santa will make his entrance to the water in a helicopter on the Canadian side of the river, but no worries as those who are on the Buffalo side will still be able to catch a good glimpse of the holiday fun.

Santa will be traveling down the South end of the Niagara River by the Peace Bridge break wall and ending at the Niagara Parkway Marina.
