ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Eight months after the shutdown of Dessert Deli in Williamsville, chief cookie maker Renee Bialkowski is bringing back the bakery’s famous recipes at a business of her own.
Bialkowski in early October opened Cookie JARZ Bakeshop at 5020 Armor Duells Road in Orchard Park, where Ellicottville-based Cupcaked Bakery previously operated a satellite site.
Bialkowski spent 20 years perfecting the recipes at the shop owned by her mother-in-law, Trish Mullaney, and knew she wasn’t ready to call it quits when the business closed in February.
