ARCADE, N.Y. — An Arcade woman was seriously injured while helping a family member with a disabled vehicle.
The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office responded to a property on East Arcade Road Monday morning for a report of a woman who had been run over.
According to investigators, the 58-year-old woman helping move the disabled vehicle with a family member who was trying to pull the disabled vehicle with another vehicle.
The woman suffered serious injuries to her leg and torso. An Arcade Police officer was able to apply a tourniquet to her leg and control the bleeding.
She was taken by ambulance to the Erie County Medical Center. Her condition is unknown at this time.
There are no charges expected at this time.
