NORTH JAVA, NY-Two crew members were unhurt after their helicopter made a controlled landing Friday morning in Wyoming County.
It happened shortly after 11 A.M. in a field at the intersection of Pleasant Valley and Pee Dee Rds.
J. Boorman, Assistant Chief with the North Java Volunteer Fire Department, said the chopper was based out of Rochester.
Members of the fire department, along with Wyoming Co. Emergency Services responded to the scene.
By 1:30 p.m. Dave McKinley reported the helicopter had been repaired and was on the way back to Rochester.
