BUFFALO, N.Y. — A North Collins resident is facing charges after deputies say they found a knuckle knife and drugs in his vehicle.

Deputies say they pulled over a  vehicle driven by Paul Renaldo for vehicle and traffic violations on Route 438 in the Town of Collins Sunday.

While speaking to the driver, the deputies say Renaldo told them he had an illegal substance in the vehicle.  While searching the vehicle, they say they found a metal knuckle knife, a ballistic vest, methamphetamine, a scale and marijuana pipe.

Renaldo is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
