Bomb threat suspect arrested for threat made to Buffalo General Hospital

A 31-year-old from Corfu has been arrested in connection to a bomb threat made at Buffalo General Hospital in March.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Police announced that an arrest has been made following a bomb threat at Buffalo General Hospital, that was made back in March.

A 911 call had been made claiming that an improvised explosive device was going to be placed in the garage of Hospital. Due to these claims checks were made and the hospital was secured by Buffalo Police K9 officers, and hospital security.

The Threat Management Unit immediately began an investigation and the suspect was apprehended and arrested. 

The suspect, 31-year-old Lordseth Phoenix of Corfu, was arrested on Tuesday, April 9 and charged with one count of falsely reporting an incident in the second degree, and one count of making a threat of mass harm which is a class A misdemeanor.
