Buffalo Man Charged in Lackawanna Arson

More than eight months after a fire badly hurt two kids in Lackawanna, police say they've caught the man who set it.

BUFFALO, NY -- More than eight months after a fire badly hurt two children in Lackawanna, police say they've caught the man who set it.

Corey Green, 20, of Buffalo was arraigned on four arson charges Tuesday morning.

The Erie County District Attorney's office says Green started the fire behind an apartment building on Ingham Avenue last April.

Four families were inside at the time.

A four-year-old had a collapsed lung from the smoke inhalation and a three-year-old had third-degree burns.

Green pleaded not guilty and was remanded to jail without bail, where if convicted, he faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison.
