Buffalo Police: Arrest made in connection to shooting on Tuesday

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police made an arrest in connection to a Tuesday night shooting.

The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday at East Delavan Avenue and Chelsea Place, where police responded to a call of shots fired. Following a foot chase, officers apprehended a suspect on Rickert Avenue.

Not long after that, around 10:30 p.m., a shooting victim arrived at Erie County Medical Center in a civilian vehicle. The person was shot in his chest/shoulder area, police said Thursday.

The victim, a 24-year-old Buffalo man, was treated and released from ECMC.

Ramell Robertson, 23, of Buffalo has been charged in connection to the shooting. Those charges include one felony count of attempted murder, one felony count of criminal possession of a weapon, and one felony count of reckless endangerment.
