Tom Golisano invests $20 million into Buffalo-based 3-D printing startup

PostProcess Technologies is getting a major boost from Tom Golisano, a billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Rochester-based PayChex.

BUFFALO, N.Y. — PostProcess Technologies is getting a major boost from Tom Golisano, a billionaire entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Rochester-based PayChex.

The Buffalo-based startup company has raised $20 million in Series B funding from Grand Oaks Capital, a firm through which Golisano makes investments.

Founded in 2014 by engineer Daniel Hutchinson, PostProcess has developed a line of machines that “clean” parts after they’ve been through additive manufacturing processes. It develops proprietary software that runs the machines and also sells the material and detergent used in them.  You can read the full story on Buffalo Business First's website
